The RDT800 Rugged Data Terminal is designed for mobile communication in rugged environments. It can withstand repeated drops to hard surfaces and meets MIL-STD-810E for humidity, water resistance and vibration specifications.
It connects easily to local, national and worldwide communication networks including Ion Skip, Satellite, Cellular, local RF. It can be configured with an internal cellular phone module, bus interface, and four digital inputs and outputs.
Its open architecture allows easy application development with industry standard tools such as Borland C++ Version 4.5, and Microsoft Visual C+ Version 1.5 enhanced by Wescor application development tools.
