The Intermec 9183 repeater extends the range of the Intermec 900 MHz RF spread spectrum network without the need for any cabling. The 9183 is a complete sealed unit designed to operate within rugged industrial environments.

It receives data from the transmitting 9181 base radio unit, portable RF device, or another 9183 repeater, and rebroadcasts the data, dramatically increasing the range of the wireless network. It does not require a FCC or DOC site license to operate.
