HP HBSW-8300
The HP Smartwand bar code reader HBSW-8300 is a bar code scanning wand with an integrated decoder.
It transmits data to a computer via an asynchronous serial port, using CMOS level signals, at user definable baud rates.
The Smartwand reader's configuration may be changed by scanning bar code menus, or by sending escape sequences to the wand.
In either case, the SmartWand has a non-volatile memory to save the new configuration.
