DAP M4000 Series /SC720
The M4000 series initially consists of two models, the M4010 that comes with a 16-key numeric keypad in addition to four dedicated programmable keys and a navigation diamond, and the M4020 that has a more comprehensive 44-key alphanumeric keypad in addition to the navigation diamond and four function keys. For scanning, DAP offers either short, medium or long range 1D laser scanners, or a combination 1D/2D imager. Built on a Windows CE operating system, the device is sealed to IP65 and engineered to withstand multiple 5-foot drops.
The M4000 is small and light in weight.. The M4010 measures 3.6 x 7.6 x 1.7 inches and weighs about 1.3 pounds. The M4020 with its larger keyboard is a bit longer, measuring 3.6 x 8.7 x 1.7 inches and weighing about 1.45 pounds. Features include 128 MB SDRAM and 1 GB flash ROM for storing data locally, GPRS and wireless LAN 802.11b/g communications, a 3.5-inch 256K color LCD touch screen with LED backlighting, and a choice of an alpha-numeric or alphabetical keyboard.
