The Symbol PDT 3500 terminals are lightweight, battery powered, hand-held portable data collection devices. Data is entered from the keyboard, an integrated laser scanner, or an attached laser scanner. They house common features of the PDT 3540, but are strictly batch terminals (no radios).
It offers a 16-line by 21 character display for viewing more data in a single glance and also features a 47 alphanumeric keypad and optional one- or two-dimensional scan heads.
The Symbol PDT-3500 is ideal for bar code data capture in a wide variety of industries and applications. Example include shelf price audits, price checking, order entry, inventory control, shipping, picking and receiving. Transportation and logistics companies will find they provide more efficient ways to perform package tracking, picking and receiving, and cross-dock applications.
Power saving features of the PDT3500 include auto-off and power save modes, which reduce power consumption until an operator provides input.
