The Symbol CST-2040 Scanning Terminals enables customers to scan each item they select from the supermarket shelf and at the same time verify product information and pricing displayed on the terminal screen before putting it in their shopping trolley.
Additionally, customers can monitor their spending throughout the shopping trip with the CST 2040 in complete privacy and can even pack their groceries.
After completing their shopping, the customer returns the CST2040 Scanning Terminal to its rack and goes to an adjacent checkout counter, where an itemized and totaled docket is printed, and payment is made.
