The Symbol Universal Access Point Remote Low Power Distribution System provides an economical and reliable method for powering access point(s) from a remote location. This system allows users to connect up to 6 access points using one power supply located at a single AC power source. Users often need to place access points in obscure locations. In the past, a dedicated 24-hour 90- 264 VAC power source was required for each access point installation.
The remote low-power distribution system conversion feature eliminates the additional cost incurred with adding power drops throughout the facility.
The Symbol Universal Access Point Low Power Distribution System converts AC power to low-voltage DC that can operate on low-voltage data cables.
The DC power cable sub-assembly provides a power plug for the access point at one end stripped wires at the other end to splice into the main DC cable.
