The Symbol SPS-3000 extends the capabilities of the Compaq iPAQ, converting the Pocket PC/PDA from a consumer-oriented device to a dynamic business tool for the mobile enterprise.
It is 'sled' expansion pack that provides integrated data capture for users of the Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC.
The SPS-3000 enables 1-dimensional bar code scanning, which is activated using any of the five programmable application buttons on the Compaq iPAQ.
An optional 'virtual' on-screen button may also be used with the SPS-3000
