Norand RB-3000

The Norand RB3000 series radio base utilizes a third-generation, high-performance digital transceiver enhanced for 4800 or 9600 bps operation.

It provides improved throughput by compensating for the range and error rate problems associated with 9600 bps radio communications.

Compatible with all Norand UHF hand-helds, the RB3000 series radio base is the transceiver component of a complete UHF radio data network. The network consists of a communications multiplexer (or controller) and the RB3000 Radio Base Radio Transceiver.

The RB3000 can support interfacing cables of RS-232-C or RS-422 from the radio base to the multiplexer or controller.
