En-Vision id mate Omni

The En-Vision America i.d. mate OMNI is a portable "all-in-one" talking bar code scanner. Measuring only seven inches in length, this electronic device aids a visually impaired individual with the identification of items using the product's bar code or UPC. By means of digital voice recording and text-to-speech technologies, it allows users to access an on-board database of product descriptions, along with a tailored set of recorded voice messages.

i.d. mate OMNI can be used to quickly identify any product or item that is not easily recognized: cans, jars, boxes, bottles, clothing, playing cards, prescription drugs, compact disks, albums, cassette tapes, computer disks, books, important documents, file folders...anything!
