Symbol Motorola STI85-0200 is the standard cable to attach a Symbol scanner to a USB capable host including PC's , Notebooks, Net computers, POS terminals , & Apple iMacs. (Recommended for MAC Computers).
Most Symbol hand-held scanners are powered by USB when attached to the root hub or to a self powered hub. Some scanners do require an additional power supply, including: LS 5700, LS 5800 and P460/P470.
