Itron G5
The G5 is a rugged, flexible, and powerful handheld computer. It is compact, lightweight, water and dust resistant, and operates in a wide range of temperatures.
The G5 integrates the functionality of a modern DOS computer into an ergonomic package that provides all the basic meter data collection functionality required within a single unit. Use the base G5 for manual key-in data entry as well as time-of-use (TOU) probing and water or touch pad probing.
The G5 combines the functionality of the base G5 with a radio transceiver for walk-by meter reading data collection. The G5 handheld can be used for walk-by data collection from endpoint-equipped electricity, gas or water meters.
