Datalogic MS-3100

The Datalogic MS 3100 and are light and compact portable terminals, but are also robust and powerful making them ideal in a wide range of data collection applications. The MS3100 provides a high performance integrated laser reader that can rotate, allowing ease of use for right or left-handed operations.

The advantages given by the hardware/software combination of this terminal can be seen particularly in the reading of damaged low contrast codes or those placed under plastic film or surfaces, as, for example, in wrapped boxes, or in envelopes, CD's and music cassettes covered in cellophane. Special attention was given to other elements , increasing application productivity: a keypad with 35 keys allows quick and easy numeric data input.

With the Datalogic MS3100, a high contrast graphic display gives the operator optimum visualization of data and instructions through the graphic options offered, such as the possibility of magnified characters, dual intensity and back lighting. Computing power and connectivity however, should not be overlooked: the MS3100 has a 16 bit DOS compatible microprocessors and can hold up to 4 Megabytes of memory. With the MS 3100, applications can be developed faster and economically thanks to DOS compatibility, therefore protecting your software investment.

Fast battery recharging and communication occurs through single modules or in groups of 4, allowing RS-232-C connection to the host and battery recharging in 90 to 120 minutes.
