The BBC-F1010 bumpy bar code reader reads and decodes three-dimensional bar codes that are directly engraved or etched into the product.
It works by illuminating the bar code target with a laser and capturing the reflected image in a two-dimensional CCD.
The BBC1010 is a fixed mount heavy duty reader that can be used at independent work-stations, or in the field to capture the encoded message.
It is best suited for reading codes that are dot peened, etched or engraved into metals or other similar materials.
