Its embedded firmware allows operators to change the motor speed from 600 to 1,000 scans per second to accommodate fast-moving bar code labels. For custom applications, the MS-7100's auto calibration procedure finds the best combination of gain and tracking settings for ranges and scan speeds.

The MS-7100 provides a depth of field up to 55-inch plus adjustable scan speeds from 600 to 1,000 scans per second. Its extended depth of field and high speed scanning ability, combined with standard and ultra-high density options, enable the MS-7100 to handle virtually any label in any type of application.It has exceptional read range capability from 2-inch (5.08 cm) to 4.58 feet (140 cm).

A heavy-gauge, extruded aluminum housing assures reliability under the most demanding industrial applications by safeguarding the circuitry and optical components. Thermo-Electric Cooling: The laser diode is thermo-electrically cooled for added protection in hot industrial environments, extending the operating temperature to 122°F (50°C).
