The Metrologic QuantumE ® IS3480 scanner is a miniature, omni-directional scanning engine with optional single line scanning capability. This self-contained scanning device is fully enclosed eliminating the need for an external window or custom enclosure.

Users can operate the scanner in either a hand-held or hands-free fashion.

The IS 3480 is ideal for presentation scanning in moderate volume retail environments such as OEM equipment such as price lookup systems and kiosks.

The omnidirectional scan pattern offers outstanding scan performance on all standard 1D bar code symbologies, including RSS. The button-activated single line mode aids in scanning items that contain multiple bar codes or when selecting bar codes from menu-style price sheets.
