The LINX ETC is a low priced, Ethernet Thin Client for applications such as access control, labor tracking, shop floor data collection, time and attendance, and work-in-process. Just plug your data-scanning device into the laser/wand port and you are ready to work. Bright LED lights indicate reject, accept, and wait modes.

This is an easy-to-use data collector. It boasts an internal bar code reading chip capable of decoding all standard barcodes, a laser port, an "accept/reject"indicator, a 2X16 back lit LCD display, an internal beeper, and an internal relay for access control applications.

The Linx ETC also provides direct connectivity to Ethernet, which eliminates network-oriented wiring problems and performance limitations related to older RS-232/422/485 networks.

Communications are accomplished through standard TCP/IP.
