HHP HBDE2

The Hand Held Products HBD-E2 is a bar code reader and data entry terminal designed to provide application flexibility without external switching or hardware modification.

The flexibility of the HBDE2 is made possible by employing EPROM technology,a handheld scanner and a bar coded programming menu to change functions as required. Using only the scanner and programming menu,an operator can easily select and tailor any or all of 11 different bar codes, while also controlling data transmission parameter such as baud rates and I/O formats.

The HBD-E2 is housed in a compact, durable aluminum case with non-skid feet and wall mounting capability. Two 25 pin connectors allow communications to and from a computer or terminal.

The unit can interface with data terminals, multiplexers,processors, etc. via a serial RS-232-C or RS-422 format using EIA standards.
