Compsee Apex III
The Apex III Portable Data Collector is a unique data-capture device that combines the low-price of a batch data collection terminal with the processing power and connectivity capability of a wireless data collection terminal. This combination enables a user on a limited budget to start their application in a batch environment and then seamlessly migrate later to wireless as the application justifies the additional investment for a wireless infrastructure.
The unit features include a full alphanumeric keypad, full graphic display (240 x 160 pixels) with user activated back lighting, a voice capable standard PC 8 ohm speaker, 8MB of Flash memory and 4MB of on-board RAM.
Unlike other hand held portable data terminals in this price range, the Apex III is an open system architecture that allows the user to reconfigure the unit in the field.
