The Intermec Universal Access Point 2100 is resistant to dust, cold and moisture and thrives where other wireless access points can't survive. Patented dual radio architecture, and support for legacy radios keeps the network administrator's options open. Roaming clients enjoy solid support from industry-leading seamless IP tunneling.

This open-systems access point implements key features of Intermec's Integrated Network Communications Architecture (INCA), including radio and network independence, it gives users flexibility, while protecting their investment, and allowing for future growth.

With it's flexible wireless LAN architecture that supports industry standard protocols and applications, the Intermec 2100 allows seamless user roaming across different enterprise networks.Designed for installation in harsh environments, the Intermec 2100 is built with an IP53/NEMA 3 enclosure and has variable temperature options.

The 2100 is radio Independent, allowing for freedom of choice in radio technologies. It supports 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz OpenAir, IEEE 802.11 Direct Sequence, IEEE 802.11 Frequency Hopping, and future wireless radio technologies, and can function as an access point, wireless repeater, or wireless bridge.

It's patented dual radio support allows for mixing radios of different range and data throughput, while it's advanced filtering prevents unnecessary traffic from the wired LAN from being forwarded on to the wireless medium.
