Weighing less than six ounces, the LS 2100 HotShot's ergonomically designed handle and soft-touch trigger reduce operator fatigue and increase productivity. The heart of the Scanner is Symbol's acclaimed SE 1200 Series Scan Engine. Advanced bar code reading capability includes a variety of bar code sizes, and even poorly printed and low-contrast symbols. The LS2100 HotShot's excellent scanning range and large "sweet spot" reads UPC/EAN bar codes from contact to 11-inch, and 5-mil high-density bar codes from 0.5" to 2.5".

The LS2100 boasts Symbol's patented Mylar scan element which eliminates wear providing years of dependable performance, and uses less power, extending battery life in portable applications. The benefits derived from the many features of the HotShot scanner boost end-user productivity.
