The Symbol VS-1020 has the power to capture and download images to a PC for applications such as signature capture, OCR, and text capture.
The VS1020 fixed focus scanners are available in four product models with different focal points. The model is designed for low and medium density codes and has a focal point of 5-inch. It is ideal for general 2D applications (postal, retail, and asset tracking). With a focal point of 9-inch, is the perfect solution for transportation and distribution applications.
The Symbol VS1020 Image Reader can be configured as either a hand held or fixed mount device which reads matrix, stacked linear, and conventional linear bar codes.
