VeriFone PINpad 2000

The VeriFone PIN Pad 2000 is a versatile card reader that provides ease of use with comprehensive security for debit card transactions.

It's easy-to-read, 16-character, vacuum fluorescent display supports multiple languages which allows consumers to swipe their own cards to initiate debit transactions.

The VeriFone PINpad 2000 also supports Message Authentication Code, a technique that protects the debit transaction data from tampering during its transfer to the host. In addition, the Pin Pad 2000 meets ISO and ANSI standards for PIN encryption, key management and Message Authentication Code (MAC).

It was designed to take advantage of both Master/Session and DUKPT (derived unique key per transaction) key management methods.
