Proxim's Stratum MP is a multipoint bridge designed specifically for multipoint outdoor applications.Utilizing a patented RF coding technique, Stratum MP allows you to deploy multiple cells more tightly than other direct sequence solutions without impacting performance.

It's higher throughput speeds, faster file transfers and better network performance support more active customers on each network segment.

Designed for connecting service provider towers, office buildings, schools and residential complexes quickly and economically, Stratum MP is a direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) wire free bridge.The MP multipoint bridge offers 50% higher throughput and 100% lower packet delay than other major building-to-building systems.

Other features include a 10Base-T Ethernet interface, military-grade security to protect network traffic from theft and denial of service attacks and the use of a true point-to-multipoint queuing protocol and a channel access fairness algorithm to enable the operator to establish traffic priority for each node within a multipoint cell.
