Motorola's HC700 Series are rugged, portable computers. A full-featured handheld, the HC700 provides integrated data capture capability and both local and wide area connectivity via GSM/GPRS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless technology.
Features include a color touch-screen display, an omni-directional area imager for ID/2D barcode imaging, and both Wi-Fi (wireless LAN) and Bluetooth communications capabilities.
The HC-700 Series has an extended 40-key ABC thumb-keyboard with numeric overlay, Measuring 7.8 x 3.2 x 1.9-inch, and weighing 18 oz, it is larger than a consumer-class Pocket PC, but handy enough to carry around. An IP64 sealing allow use under most harsh environmental conditions, and the device can survive multiple 6-foot drops.
Motorola says this model is ideal for individual field users and work teams in need of mobile data applications such as remote data base inquiries, job ticketing and field service, sales force automation, asset management and inventory management.
