Intermec 0111

The Intermec 0111 Access Point is a long-range, high-performance local area network (LAN) controller that bridges your wired Ethernet network to Intermec's WLI Forum OpenAir compatible 2.4 GHz radio frequency (RF) network.

The Intermec 0111 is designed with the durability required for industrial operating environments.With it's superior range, outstanding performance, comprehensive management features, easy installation, exceptional durability and reliability, the Model 0111 Ethernet Access Point meets the most demanding requirements for industrial-strength wireless networking equipment.Also included is roaming software, enabling mobile computer users to move freely from one access point to another while maintaining their network connection.

Intermec's 2.4 GHz RF network has a throughput of 1.6Mbps with the best coverage in the industry.It has been approved for sale around the world and can work in many new applications that need high speed and flexibility of wireless connectivity to Ethernet LANs.This international RF standard spread spectrum network does not require an FCC or DOC site license.

The 0111 Access Point connects to an Ethernet network and contains a WLI Forum OpenAir 2.4 GHz FHSS radio that has a power output of 100mW. The 0111 is similar in every way except that it's power output is 500mW resulting in 50% better range.

Intermec's 0111 is managed using the Ethernet wired interface, the wireless network, a direct serial link, or even a dial-up phone line (modem not included). You can configure, manage & upgrade access points without ever leaving your office.
